Art Stanton founded Stanton Office Machine Company five decades ago with one type of item to sell. Originally the business began by selling calculators to the I.R.S. Today, the business features high-end office technology.
Art Stanton owned and operated the company from 1955 to 1996 when it became time, due to age and health concerns, that the company be sold. It was then that three long-time copier veterans from Santa Rosa purchased the company and began to prepare it to enter the current age of fast paced technological change.

Beginning in 1996 we have streamlined our systems, begun to better utilize available technology, increased our sales efforts, reduced our administration and focused a great deal of time and resources to becoming superior in after the sale, support.
Since 1996 Stanton Office Machine Company has won numerous awards, including Minolta's Western Dealer of the Year, (twice), and has been named a National Elite Dealer as named by Office Dealers & Office Solutions magazines. Stanton regularly receives recognition as an honor council winner and was the only Gestetner dealership to be awarded two trips in 2006.

In addition to our main office in Fresno , Stanton has had an office in Visalia since 1975. In 2003 Stanton expanded to our new 20,000 square foot facility at 4312 N. Selland in Fresno.
